Gregg Allman's Laid Back Festival - Sept 24, 2017

lbfIn 2015 Gregg Allman co-founded and curated the inaugural Laid Back Festival. While Gregg passed away last month, the Laid Back Festival – a traveling celebration of food and music – will be presented this September in the spirit of Allman. Three Laid Back ’17 dates have been detailed with lineups including Jackson Browne, Steve Winwood, Little Steven & The Disciples Of Soul, Peter Wolf and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band.

On September 21, PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey will host a Laid Back Festival stop featuring performances from Jackson Browne, Little Steven & The Disciples Of Soul, Peter Wolf and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band. The traveling festival comes to Hartford’s XFINITY Theatre on September 23 with Browne, Steve Winwood, Wolf and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band. Then, on September 24, Northwell Health At Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York will host Browne, Winwood, Wolf, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Garland Jeffreys and Scott Sharrard & The Brickyard Band.

In addition to the music, each event will feature more than 20 regional restaurants, food trucks, breweries, wineries and other artisans. Pre-sale ticketing begins Tuesday, June 13 with all remaining tickets going up for grabs on Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. ET.
