It doesnt look like its going to happen with the way the weather is today. A shame second year the fireworks will probably be cancelled atleast this year they have a rain date even though its not the same. Since today is independence day.

A fireworks extravaganza above the shores of Jones Beach State Park. Spectators will be entertained with vibrant colors and awesome sounds simulcast to a musical array of patriotic songs. Showtime is 9:30pm. Rain Date Saturday 7/5
